Trial and Appellate Attorney
Ms. Lovelock represents individuals and corporate clients in complex litigation matters. Ms. Lovelock’s experience not only covers the entire State of Nevada, but also includes a broad spectrum of litigation forums, including governmental agencies, arbitration and mediation, and state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.
Ms. Lovelock’s success in advocating for her clients is proven. In just the last few years, she has obtained judgments for her individual and institutional clients that exceed seventy-five million dollars in individual, employment and class action matters. She also has successfully defended her clients against claims that sought damages in the millions.
When representing a corporate client, Ms. Lovelock employs strategies that consider the clients’ immediate needs as well as its long-term goals. Ms. Lovelock ensures she fully understand how her client’s business operates, including its values, and brings this knowledge to bear in every decision. For individuals, Ms. Lovelock communicates difficult legal concepts in a manner that is understandable and never loses sight of her client’s personal well-being. Still, for every client, no matter the size or the amount in controversy, Ms. Lovelock understands that the matters she is entrusted to handle are important and she provides reliability and constant communication with each and every client.
Ms. Lovelock is an active Children’s Attorney Project attorney whereby she represents abused and neglected children in the foster care system. The Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada honored Ms. Lovelock for her contributions by selecting her the Pro Bono Volunteer of the Month in July of 2016.
Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Lovelock was an Equal Employment Opportunity Federal Investigator. Previously, she served as a legal extern for the governor of Arizona Janet Napolitano.
